“I’m just a guy with an old camera, chasing light and seeing where it leads.”
Aris has always been curious about the world. He notices the little things most people pass by the way light hits a surface, the texture of an old building, the stillness in a quiet stretch of landscape. That curiosity is what eventually led him to photography.
He started with a vintage film camera he found on a whim, and what began as a small experiment quickly turned into a passion. He taught himself how to shoot, develop, and bring film to life, appreciating the slow and intentional process that comes with it. Film forces him to be present, to stay patient, and to trust his eye. Every frame means something.
Today, he spends his free time exploring the outdoors, wandering through old towns, and chasing the kind of light that only lasts a moment. He loves the imperfections, the grain, and the honesty that film brings to an image.
For Aris, photography is simple:
be curious, stay open, and let the world show you something worth remembering.
